At More, we're always looking for ways to make getting connected feel easier and more straightforward. That's why we're introducing ConnectID®, a new, secure way to verify your identity, without needing to upload identity documents like a driver licence or passport.
From 1 April 2026, customers signing up to new services can verify their identity using ConnectID, a secure digital verification process. This allows eligible customers to confirm their identity without uploading traditional identity documents, instead using existing information already held by their bank. Customers review the information prior to sharing, and information is shared only with their consent.
Why we're introducing ConnectID
We know not everyone has the same identity documents and for some customers, traditional ID checks can be frustrating or limiting. ConnectID helps remove that barrier by allowing customers to verify their identity through organisations they already trust, like their bank.
It also means:
- No uploading or storing copies of identity documents
- A fast, seamless online signup experience
- Less sensitive identity information shared overall
ConnectID acts as a secure bridge between your bank and More. It doesn't see or store your personal information at any time.
