$0 FTTP Upgrade
As an existing customer, you do not need to pay for your upgraded FTTP nbn® plan at this stage.
You will still need to pay for any hardware and additional services such as a Home Phone or SIM Plan.
You will be charged for your upgraded FTTP plan on your first invoice following the completion of your upgrade.
You can't purchase an eero device from More on a stand-alone basis or without a compatible More internet service.
Each More eero comes with an eero Secure subscription included for 12 months at no additional cost for use with a compatible More internet service. The initial 12-month subscription commences:
if you purchase an eero device with a new compatible More internet service, on the date that service is first activated; or
if you have an existing compatible More internet service, on the date your eero device is sent to you.
After this promotional period, your eero Secure subscription automatically converts to a paid month-to-month service. You will then be charged monthly in advance at the recommended retail price (RRP) per account (regardless of number of purchased or connected devices) as part of your standard monthly bill until your eero Secure subscription is cancelled. The price of an eero Secure subscription is currently $2.99/mth (inc GST) per account, subject to change on 30 days notice.
You cannot purchase an eero device from More without also receiving an eero Secure subscription.
However, you can cancel it at any time by contacting us. Cancellation will take effect at the end of your current billing period, as long as it is requested at least 5 days before that date. Otherwise, it will take effect at the end of your next billing period. You can continue to use eero Secure until the date of cancellation.
If you cancel your eero Secure subscription, we will disassociate it from all your eero devices connected to your account and you can continue to use a disassociated device with your compatible More internet service. However, once this occurs, you cannot reactivate an eero Secure Subscription with More unless you purchase a new eero devices from us.
Your eero device and eero Secure subscription are subject to the full offer T&Cs, applicable standard terms of service and policies available on the Policies page of our website. By continuing with your eero device purchase you agree to these terms.

WAIT!
You’ve selected a stand-alone modem with no NBN plan. We can only send stand-alone modems to existing customers who have ordered or who have an active NBN plan with us.
By selecting this option you are responsible for configuring your modem. Due to the high number of devices available on the market, we can only provide limited ‘best efforts’ support in getting you online and we may be unable to perform speed testing of your connection. If you are not confident configuring your own device, we highly recommend purchasing a new modem from us.
We found a few units at that address, please select yours to check availability.

Your actual speeds will be slower and may vary due to a range of factors including the number of concurrent end-users your modem location, your equipment and software, nbn® technology type at your premises, network capacity and traffic and the type/source of content being downloaded or uploaded.
** The Superfast and Ultrafast plans are only available on some HFC connection types. The Business Superfast, Business Ultrafast and Business Ultrafast Plus plans are only available on FTTP connection types. Please use our website address-checking tool to establish if this plan is available to you.
^ Typical busy speeds are measured between 8am-6pm and are subject to change. Actual speeds may be slower and vary due to a range of factors.
~ This is a new plan. We therefore do not currently have enough data to provide average sampled evening download and upload speeds. When this data is available, we will update our website and CIS to include this information.
NBN is available, but due to your property being a new development and not yet connected to the NBN the one-off NBN New Development Charge of $300 applies. This charge is levied by NBN and is applicable regardless of the NBN provider that you choose. So if you’re happy with that…
You have selected a Home Voice plan without an nbn® plan. To receive a Home Voice plan, you must already have an active More nbn® plan, or you must sign-up to an nbn® plan at the same time as you purchase a Home Voice plan. Please add nbn® to your cart to proceed.

Short answer: yes! At More, we know that having the right equipment is crucial for a seamless and affordable internet experience. That's why we offer a Bring Your Own (BYO) modem option for all our nbn® plans. However, it's important to know your connection technology and ensure that your BYO device is a suitable fit. Here's a quick guide to help you make the most of your More connection using your BYO modem. Important considerations The age and capability of your modem is important as it can impact the speed and reliability of your internet connection. We recommend using modems and cables less than three years old and recycling your old hardware if you can. Issues such as slow internet or lagging speeds are frequently linked to outdated modems operating with obsolete or old technology. Positioning is also important. Modems should not be placed near large metal objects that may block or interfere with their signal (e.g. fridges, microwaves, TVs or steel-mesh window security screens). Know your connection type To set up your new nbn® plan with More, you need to know what type of connection you have. You can find this out by entering your address here. Below are the types of nbn® connections and their differences: Fibre to the Premises (FTTP): where fibre optic cables run directly to your premise. This is often considered to be the best nbn® connection type because it is more consistent in delivering high speeds. Fibre to the Node (FTTN):where there is an optical fibre to a street cabinet, and this is then connected to your property using existing copper networks. The nbn® FTTP upgrade program provides eligible premises the opportunity to upgrade from an FTTN connection to an FTTP connection, for access to higher speeds and a more reliable connection. Check if you’re eligible here. Fibre to the Curb (FTTC): where fibre optic cables extend close to your premises (usually a transition point inside a pit) and then connect to your property using the existing copper network. FTTC is considered a reliable alternative to FTTP. The nbn® FTTP upgrade program provides eligible premises the opportunity to upgrade from FTTC connection to an FTTP connection, for access to higher speeds and a more reliable connection. Check if you’re eligible here. Fibre to the Building (FTTB): where fibre optic cables run to an apartment (or similar building) communications room, using existing technology to connect each apartment or unit. This can be copper in older buildings or ethernet cables in newer ones. Hybrid Fibre-Coaxial (HFC): when existing pay TV or cable TV infrastructure (e.g. an old Foxtel connection) is used to enable the final part of the nbn® connection to your property. HFC only serves a small area where it has already been installed. Fixed Wireless (FW): where the connection is wireless through a transmission tower to an outdoor nbn® antenna located on your premise. Fixed Wireless technology is similar to 4G and 5G networks. Know your modem compatibility By this point, you should have a good grasp of your connection type. Now, it's time to figure out if your BYO modem is a good match for it.

PPPoE
PPPoE, or Point-to-Point Protocol over Ethernet, is a method used to connect multiple devices within a local network to the internet via a broadband connection. PPPoE requires a username and password, typically provided by an Internet Service Provider, to establish a secure connection between the user's device and the internet.
Think of a WAN (Wide Area Network) as a digital highway that connects different cities and towns. Just like roads allow cars to travel between places, WANs enable computers and devices in one location to communicate with those in another, no matter how far apart they are. This network is essential for activities like sending emails between countries, accessing websites globally, and connecting offices of big companies worldwide.
VDSL, or Very High Bit Rate Digital Subscriber Line, is a technology that provides internet access over traditional telephone lines. VDSL is typically faster than previous ADSL technology as it uses a combination of fibre and your existing copper infrastructure. It's like giving your old phone line a turbo boost. VDSL allows faster data transmission by using more advanced technology, making it possible to stream videos, play online games, and download large files quickly, all while using the same phone line you've had for years.
Configuration assistance While our technical team is here to help with BYO device configuration, the large variety of devices on the market means we can only provide best effort support for someBYO devices. Find out more about configuring a BYO device here. If you opt for BYO, having a good understanding of configuring your device is very useful. We recommend opting for one of our pre-configured nbn® modems, such as the eero 6+ and NetComm modems. These modems are hassle-free and ready to use right out of the box! You can find out which modem we recommend for your property by entering your addresshere. Whether you prefer the flexibility of bringing your own device or the simplicity of our pre-configured options – we’ve got you covered!
